Xiaomi Mi9 Lite with Higher Memory and Battery

As Xiaomi Mi9 series smartphones continue to increase because the company is trying to fully cover the market niche. Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite falls under the same price segment with the Mi9T and Mi9 SE models, but Xiaomi Mi9 has some nice differences which make it unique from other models in the same series.

Chip in design

The appearance of the Xiaomi Mi9 Lite is in line with modern trends. At the top of the screen is a neat drop-shaped cutout for the front camera. Frames of medium thickness, a narrow chin is also available.

The phone is currently on sale in two colors (Blue and Gray) in Russia and soon the white is expected to appear in the Russia market too.

The glass back quickly collects fingerprints once touched but they are erased without problems. On both sides of the device is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The fingerprint scanner is located under the front panel.

Super AMOLED Display

With the Super AMOLED display in Mi9 lite, there are little or no complaints about the Mi9 Lite screen, made using Super AMOLED technology. Color reproduction and brightness range are superb. For those who are sensitive to display flicker due to PWM, the manufacturer has provided the ability to enable DC Dimming. There is also a dark design and reading mode, making the shades warmer. This allows you to comfortably use the device before bedtime.

48MP and 32MP Camera

The main camera consists of a 48-megapixel main module with f / 1.79 aperture, 8 megapixels (118 °) ultra-wide-angle and a 2 MP depth of field sensor. Mi9 Lite is equipped with Super Pixel technology, which can combine four pixels to capture more light. So even with dusk, decent frames should be obtained. In the camera application, the “pro” mode is available, which allows you to manually set, for example, white balance, shutter speed, and focal length.

The 32-megapixel front camera, like the main module, has Super Pixel combining technology. A couple of pleasant things which include; a remote shutter release with a sweep of the palm of your hand and a panoramic self-portrait mode.

At first glance, it is easy to conclude that the optimal quality is achieved when HDR and AI are activated. But these options do not work if you manually enable the resolution of 48 megapixels. In portrait format, you can change the degree of background blur.

Stuffing and performance in Xiaomi Mi9 Lite

The smartphone is powered by last year’s Snapdragon 710, which was made using the 10-nanometer process technology. This commands everything in Mi9 Lite. Its performance is still more than enough to perform many everyday tasks. In AnTuTu, the smartphone scored 208,073 points. This is facilitated by 6 GB of the latest generation of RAM – LPDDR4X. So far, the device has MIUI 10.3.1 (based on Android 9), but the manufacturer has already announced the transition to the eleventh version of the shell at the beginning of 2020.

Unlike the Xiaomi Mi 9T, Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite has an infrared port and there is also a slot for memory cards, which was not in the Mi 9T, nor in the Mi9 SE. The battery, compared to the Mi9 SE, has become much larger with 4030mAh, and not 3070 mAh.
