Facts About Rivers State Free UTME and SSCE
The Rivers State free UTME and SSCE program is a project launched by the Rivers State government under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike in fulfillment of his promise to sponsor 100,000 candidates for this session’s JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The governor through the Rivers State Ministry of Education has provided a platform to register all intending candidates for the 2020/2021 UTME. The program is targeted at helping students in secondary schools to register for JAMB at zero cost as the state government will take care of all expenses for the said registration.
Rivers State Free UTME Registration Portal
The Rivers State government has set up a website to enable all interested and eligible candidates for the free UTME registration to complete their application form online. The said website is part of the state’s ministry of education website rivemis.riversstate.gov.ng which runs under a subdomain on the state’s official website riversstate.gov.ng. Requirements for Rivers State Free JAMB Registration 2020/2021
Interested students who wish to register for Governor Wike’s Free JAMB UTME Registration 2020/2021 are to meet these requirements;
- Candidate must be an indigene of Rivers State with a valid local government identification letter.
- Intending candidates must be 16 years of age and above
- Candidates must have a valid NIM(National Identity Card Number)
Documents Needed to Complete The Online Registration
- A scanned copy of a recent passport photograph and
- A scanned copy of your local government identification letter

How to Register for Governor Wike’s Free JAMB UTME Registration 2020/2021
All interested and eligible candidates are to visit the state’s ministry of education official website or click here. While on the website, click on Free UTME registration and complete the online application form.
Application Deadline
The deadline for this registration is 6th February 2020 and all candidates are to ensure they have completed their application before this date.
