About Majekodunmi Bursary Award

The bursary award program is designed to provide financial support to students of Ikereku, Abeokuta, Nigeria, who are pursuing their education at accredited Nigerian universities or polytechnics. The primary objective of this program is to extend one-time financial assistance to deserving Ikereku students, facilitating their pursuit of higher education at recognized Nigerian universities or polytechnics.

Partial tuition fee coverage to ensure recipients can focus more on their studies and less on the financial strain of education.

The award guarantees a minimum support amount of N100,000.00, reflecting the program’s commitment to making a significant impact on the recipients’ educational journey.

Eligibility Criteria for the Award

For the 2024/2025 academic sessions, the award welcomes applications from students enrolled in accredited programs at Nigerian universities and polytechnics especially;

Students of public universities and polytechnics from the Egba Oke-Ona, Abeokuta communities, including Ago-Oko, Iberekodo, Idomopa, Ikereku, Ikija, Ilawo, Ijaye Kukudi, Ilugun, and Imala.
Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
A recommendation letter from a notable community figure, such as a mosque or church leader, underscoring the applicant’s community engagement and character is required
A demonstrated financial need, ensuring that the award reaches those who need it most.
