The Nigeria Immigration Service(NIS) announces its recruitment through its official recruitment portal or its official website https://immigration.gov.ng. For the 2024 recruitment, the portal used for the announcement is www.cdcfib.career. This portal might change in the coming years.

List of Available Vacancies at NIS 2024/2025 and Requirements
The following vacancies are currently available for interested and eligible Nigerians to fill;
- Category A: Superintendent Cadre
- Superintendent of Immigration (SI) conpass 11 professionals (Doctors)
- Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 professionals (pharmacists)
- Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI) CONPASS 08
- Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
- Assistant Inspector Immigration (All) General Duty CONPASS 06
- Category C: Assistant Cadre
- Immigration Assistant iii (IA I11) CONPASS 03 General Duty
- Immigration Assistant III (IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans
- Motor driver
- Mechanic
Basic Requirements for Nigeria Immigration Service Recruitment
- Applicants must be Nigerian by birth
- Candidate must possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in either WASSCE/GCE/NECO or NABTEB. Hence, one of the credits must be the English Language.
- In addition to the qualifications above, those applying as tradesmen women must also possess OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate
- Candidates must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years for non-tradesmen women while tradesmen women must be between the ages of 18 – 26 years by 1st June 2022.
- You must be free of any criminal conviction.
- You must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit
- You must not be less than 1.65 meters and 1.56 meters tall for male and female applicants respectively.
- You are to print out a slip tagged: Photocard which should be presented at the screening center.

General Requirements for NIS Recruitment
- Passport size photograph
- First School Leaving Certificate
- WAEC/Nabteb/NECO/GCE Results
- Optional – NCE/ND/Trade Test/ RN
- Birth Certificate / Declaration of age.

All candidates are to upload the following documents while completing their application form
- Softcopy of all credentials
- A well-formatted CV(curriculum vitae)
- Documents of change of name where necessary.
