List of Shortlisted Candidates for NPC Recruitment 2022/2023
The national population commission which started its recruitment sometime in October 2022 has started inviting preselected candidates for the 2023 Census recruitment to participate in their training program.
The commission has since December 2022 commenced the selection process by sending out an email notification to candidates inviting them to complete their profile information via a Google form and also having them complete some selected courses in other to ensure they are well-prepared for the next phase of the training which includes virtual and physical training programs at selected centers around the country.
How to Check List of Shortlisted Candidates for NPC RecruitmentÂ
All applicants who successfully submitted their application for recruitment can check the list of shortlisted candidates or can know if they have been shortlisted through the following means;
- Check your Application Email: most currently pre-selected candidates are sent emails via their application email inviting them for the training program on Google Classroom after which the offline 3 days training.
- Whatsapp Message: Another means used by the NPC to notify shortlisted candidates is through their registered Whatsapp number. This is confirmed by NPC as they stated a phone number through which candidates are notified in some emails sent to successfully selected candidates
- Use the NPC Website: the NPC recruitment website has a section to help you check your application status however, in most cases, the portal returns the status of most candidates as pending hence the above 2 options are preferable and more reliable. Click here to check.
- SMS (optional): according to the national population commission, all available options will be explored to reach out to selected candidates hence, we are assuming that the SMS option will be explored in the coming days if they don’t get enough response from those who have been sent an email.

Training Date and CalendarÂ
The NPC training process was scheduled to commence on the 4th of January through the 11th of January 2023 via Google Classroom for the virtual section while the date and venue for the offline training are not stated.
Candidates selected as facilitators will be trained first followed by enumerators and then other candidates
List of Apps Needed for NPC Adhoc Staff TrainingÂ
To participate in the training process, all preselected candidates are to install the following apps (for phone users)
- Google Classroom
- Google Meet
- Google Doc
- Google Sheets
- Google Drive
- Google Slide
A link to the training will be sent to your email and via the NPC recruitment telegram page for shortlisted candidates so make sure to check your email and the telegram group daily.
Note: for PC users, all the above can be accessed via a browser hence you don’t need to download any of them.
