Kano State SUBEB Recruitment Portal
The Kano State government publishes all its news and updates regarding the state and its developments on its official website kanostate.gov.ng. However, the state has an old website that is currently down(as of the time of this post) but houses the state SUBEB recruitment portal http://subeb.kn.gov.ng/ on a subdomain.
When will Kano State Universal Basic Education Board Recruitment Start?
Kano State government has just concluded a two-day summit on free and compulsory Primary and Secondary Education which ended on the 4th of September 2019 in Kano State. In line with this, it is assumed that the state may kick start recruitment in the state universal basic education board since the state received multiple support from different countries for her free Primary and Secondary education. There are possibilities that the state will commence her recruitment before the end of this year although this is not certain as there is currently no official statement in this regard.

Possible Requirements for Universal Basic Education Board Recruitment
Candidates who are looking forward to applying for the State Universal Basic Education Board recruitment should consider this as a preparation guide to know the possible requirements for SUBEB recruitment.
- You should be a Nigerian by birth
- You must have passed your O’level with five(5) credits which must include; Mathematics, English, and 3 other relevant subjects
- You must hold ND, NCE, HND, Bachelor’s Degree (BSC) with a minimum
- NYSC Discharge certificate for HND/BSc graduates

Thank you, Kamal, although the recruitment hasn’t started, I would love to say it is necessary that every degree holder in Nigeria today have to prepare themselves with the right knowledge because the world is moving and we can not wait for those who are not willing to move. The students in Kano State will not be given a different test if they eventually leave the secondary school to university so their teachers have to be those who are exposed to modern facilities so they can also teach that to the children. Mr Benedict there is no were in the world were KANO is written as you did here “KANU”. With all sincerity, as you wrote Ekiti and Delta states correctly,you need to have crossed check your spellings of kano and make amends otherwise,it is mischievous.This page painfully,succeeded only in usurping desperate applicants of the little means they have to keep living as this page neither gives the link to the job site nor new information to what the applicants have already known.

As for the rest of your comment, this post did not say the recruitment has commenced or is ongoing rather, from the first paragraph it was stated clearly that it will only pass information regarding the portal and reasons why the recruitment may start soon. To us here in the north, and in Kano particularly we need to have a rethink. This is someone who got ND and HND and he become self employed because he is innovative and focused while you finished your schools at various level ND, HND, NCE, BSC and some are having MSc but you are still waiting government to provide you a Job. The worst part of it is you want such job to come not through online Application. When will you be Ready to catch up with the modern trend? Do you want us to always be at Back? We need to rise to the challenges pls.
