How to Download Video from Facebook without Software – How to Download Live Video from Facebook

Facebook pages, groups and individual profiles have become a destination for both pictures and videos as you would often see people write “let me save this one here” after uploading either a picture or a video from a life event, birthday celebration, party, training, etc. While some of these videos are uploaded directly from your storage device, some software and devices only allow you to share your recorded videos straight to Facebook without the option to save to your local device or option to export to other platforms which you may prefer to save or share your recorded videos.

When such cases arise, you are usually left with one option which is; sharing your video to Facebook and then downloading the video from Facebook to your preferred device from which you can then export or upload to your desired platform.

But now the question is how can you even download videos from Facebook and that brings us to the topic of this article “How to Download Video from Facebook”

There are several ways to download videos from Facebook but in this post, I will only focus on the easiest methods to get this done without Software.

Method 1

Using Facebook Video downloader platforms

This method requires copying the video URL and pasting it on an external website to generate a download link to download the video.

To use this method, head over to Facebook, search for videos or go to any page or group with videos, right-click on the video you wish to download and copy the URL or click on the video upload date and copy the link. Now visit any of the sites listed below and paste the copied link to start your download.

List of Facebook Live Video Downloader sites

  • Fbdown.net: this is one of the top websites that offer Facebook video downloads using the above method. Watch the video below for a demonstration of how it works.
  • Getfvid.com: This site works exactly like the one above but it has the ability to download videos from private pages and groups. All you have to do is press Ctrl+u to view the video source file, copy the entire source code and paste in the space provided for download and click the download button and wait for the magic.
  • end.savefrom.net: this is actually my favourite as the site has been around for a very long time and works not just for Facebook video downloads but also for YouTube and Vimeo.
  • idownloader.co
  • Fbkeeper.com
  • Bitdownloader.com

All these platforms work using the same principle as the first one used in the video. I personally prefer using this method since it works smoothly on both mobile and PC.
