Apple 5G iPhones
In a recent development, Wccftech portal has reported that Apple will be releasing its 5G based iPhones come 2020.
Wccftech portal, citing sources close to the Apple production line, announced the company’s plans to transfer its smartphones to 5G modems.
Despite early rumors about Apple using its own chips, the source claims that the iPhone 2020 5G line of phones will receive components from Samsung and Qualcomm.

Apple will release the 5G version of the iPhone in 2020
According to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the choice of a chip will depend on the region of sales. As two suppliers will provide Apple with an adequate supply of components for the mass production of gadgets.
Kuo believes that Apple is likely to use Qualcomm 5G modems in markets with the mmWave frequency range, and Samsung chips will be used in markets with equipment operating at frequencies less than 6 GHz. He predicts that in 2020 between 195 and 200 million iPhones will be released.
Apple is yet to give an official statement on the choice of supplier and plans for the release of 5G devices.
