This is to notify the public and all prospective students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede that the school has commenced sales of evening programme form for the 2018/2019 academic section.

The only major difference between the evening programme and regular programme (Morning programme) is regular students come in through JAMB and goes to school in the morning hours(7 am to 2 pm) while the evening programme students just buy’s the evening programme form and gain admission without going through JAMB and they study from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Outside the above-stated facts, the students get same benefits as regular students and still goes for service(NYSC) after graduation and they have the option to switch to the regular programme for those in ND.
Requirements for Federal Polytechnic Nekede Evening Programme Form 2018/2019
The entry requirements vary according to the programme(ND or HND) you are applying for.
ND Requirements
For ND programme, you will need five O’ level credits which must match with your choice department as stated in JAMB brochure and the credits should be from WAEC, NECO or any related Examination.
HND Requirements
- All candidates are required to possess National Diploma in their chosen program from a recognized/accredited institution.
- Candidates should possess at least five O’ level credits including English and Mathematics at not more than 2 seating.
- Candidates must have one or two years post national diploma industrial training experience.
How to Buy Federal Polytechnic Nekede Evening Programme Form 2018/2019

The form can be obtained from the school’s portal on http://portal.fpno.edu.ng, for the sum of 8,000 Naira via the Remita payment gateway or through a bank. After obtaining the form, you will be required to complete the form online using a passport photograph and the pin purchased from the Remita platform/ Bank.

If sales of form stop, the portal will be closed and no one will know you purchased the form till it’s processed.

Have you been given admission? If yes then, you can only change your course if the departments are directly related. For example from Computer Engineering to Electrical.

If you are yet to just coming in, then you just have to buy the form and fill the department you want. After that, you will not be allowed to change department when you have been offered admission.

You are supposed to get Jamb change of institution form and apply for the change of institution before buying the form.

Plz does evening programme require jamb result
Currently, you have to enter jamb registration number while filling the form no matter what the score is. Is only used for validation. However, if you don’t have Jamb but have bought the form, you have to visit Jamb site and apply for late registration, then jamb will issue you a registration number which you can then use for validation. For this, you don’t have to seat for jamb.
