How do I change my institution?

Follow these steps to do your change of institution or change of course in Jamb;

Step 1: Go to Jamb.gov.ng and login with your username and password(Create an account on the site if you don’t have one already)

Step 2: Click on the Application for Correction Data(check the menu on the left-hand side for this).

Step 3: A drop-down menu will open, showing the change of course/ Institution, name, date of birth, etc.

Step 4: Select change of course/institution then select your Jamb examination year and enter your registration number to proceed.

Step 5: Generate a Remita transaction ID for online payment.

Step 6: Using your ATM card, make the payment and return to the jamb portal after successful payment.

Step 7: Re-login into the jamb portal if you were logged out then proceed to the change of institution/ course section as stated in step 3 above and repeat section 4.

Step 8: The form will appear for you to edit your information. Select the particular course/ institution you wish to change and replace it with your new choice.

Step 8: Review all fields to make sure are properly filled and click on the submit button when you are sure everything is okay.

Step 9: Reprint your slip after successful submission to have an updated Jamb slip.

When is the Change of Institution Form Closing?

In previous years, the change of institution or course form closes within two weeks from the commencement date, however, with the changes made on the Jamb portal in 2017, the change of institution form is available almost till the end of the admission process. But you must make the changes as soon as possible to avoid finding yourself in a bottleneck situation.
