This is to inform all prospective candidates who participated in the 2016 Utme Screening exercise conducted by the Yobe State University to check the published admission list for the Undergraduate Programmes for 2016/2017 Academic Session.
All candidates are advised to check their names in the university’s online portal ysu.edu.ng.

Visit the school website by clicking the link above, once you are on the site, locate the text “Admission & Portal” and click on the link below it. A pdf document will be downloaded to your system which you should open using Adobe Reader. If you don’t have Adobe Reader installed in your system, then you are advised to use google chrome or download Adobe Reader.
Admitted Students in Yobe State University Merit List 2016/2017
Students Were Offered Admission Into Four (4) Different Faculties In The State University And The Numbers Of Admitted Students In Different Department Sums Up to 233 Candidates In All The Faculties;
Below Are The Faculty
- Faculty Of Arts & Education: 43 candidates were offered admission in various department
- Faculty Of Science: 104 candidates were admitted in various department
- Faculty of Social & Management Science: 54 candidates were offered admission into different departments.
- Political Science & Administration: 33 candidates were provisionally offered admissions into different departments.
Students who have been offered provisional admission should proceed to make payment for admission acceptance  in the university choice of banks within the state. Get all their documents ready and prepare for their admission clearance within some period. Candidates who were not offered admission should also wait for another supplementary list or purchase the supplementary form if available in the university and expect their names for the second admission list that may
Admitted candidates should also prepare their documents (WAEC/ NECO results, JAMB result, and other SSCE related documents) and prepare for their admission clearance within some period.
Second Admission List of Yobe State University 2016/2017
Candidates whose name did not appear in the merit list are advised to keep checking the school website ysu.edu.ng. for the release of the second batch of admission list which will be published soon.
