The Zamfara State government in a recent publication has announced that the state will commence the recruitment of 2,000 new teachers to cover for the shortage of teachers in the state.

During the official disclosure, the state government said it would recruit 2,000 teachers in  English and Science subjects in the state. The disclosure which was made on Tuesday Wadatau Madawaki, the state Commissioner for Science and Technology in Gusau did not specify exactly when the recruitment is expected to commence but he however said the recruitment will commence soon.

Requirements for Zamfara State 2000 Teachers Recruitment 2024

Since the official portal for the recruitment is yet to be announced, not much details are available for the recruitment yet however, below are some possible requirements to help you prepare for the recruitment.

• A clear and recent passport photograph.
• All academic/professional certificates relevant to the application including First School Leaving Certificates; WASSC/SSC, Degrees, other relevant professional certificates.
• NYSC certificate – Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion Certificates.
• Birth certificates or Declaration of Age duly certified by the National Population Commission.
• Certificate of Local Government of Origin.
• Valid means of identification.
• Applicants must not be older than 40 years of age
• All applicants are advised to supply functional phone numbers AND email addresses.
• TRCN induction registration and license are added advantages.
• Applicants with age declaration must obtain certification from the National Population Commission.
• Persons with Third (3rd) class and pass in degree or equivalent certificate may apply
• Applicants are to apply for the subject, relevant to their area of specialization as advertised.
