Nigeria Police Force[NPF] Recruitment 2023 Portal – The Nigerian Police Service Commission hereby invites applications from the general public, especially well-meaning Nigerians to submit their application forms for Nigeria Police Force Recruitment 2023 for the position of Police Constable (Recruits). Facts About Nigerian Police Service Commission

The Police Service Commission is an Independent Government Agency established under Section 153 of the 1999 Constitution with the power to Appoint, Promote, Post, Dismiss, and exercise disciplinary control over members of the Nigeria Police Force. Our Mission is to Improve Service Delivery in the Nigeria Police Force by Promoting Transparency and Accountability in the Police.

The Nigerian police force has created multiple recruitment portals over the years as they conduct their recruitment almost annually and some of the police recruitment portals used in the past include; www.policerecruitment.ng, recruitment.npf.gov.ng, www.policerecruitment.gov.ng, http://www.recruitment.psc.gov.ng, etc. Although some of these police recruitment portals are still active right now, the Nigerian police force has announced a new recruitment portal for the 2023 Nigerian police recruitment which is set to start on the 15th of October and will have added a link to this portal on how to apply section of this post.

List of Documents Required for Police Recruitment 2023

All candidates are to submit these documents;

  • Birth Certificates / Declaration of Age Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Hospital.
  • Evidence of good character from the village/district head of the applicant.
  • Indigene Certificate(LGA Identification letter) signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
  • Guarantor Form endorsed by a Public Servant not below the rank of GL13, Police Officer not below the rank of CSP, or its equivalent from the Armed Forces and other Paramilitary services.

Requirements for Police Recruitment 2023

All candidates must meet these requirements to be eligible to submit their application forms online.

  • You must be a Nigerian by birth and must possess the National Identification Number (NIN).
  • You must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO or its equivalent with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
  • You must be between 18 to 25 years of age
  • Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.
  • Applicants must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement for males only
  • Female Applicants must not be pregnant at the time of entry.
  • Applicants must have an active email address and phone number(Gmail is preferable).
  • SSCE statements of results or certificates relating to examinations taken before 2015 will not be accepted.
  • Applicants must be free from any financial embarrassment and not be convicted of any criminal offense.
  • In addition, applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their SSCE, Birth, and Certificates of Origin.

Points to Note In Police Recruitment

  • Applicants must print their completed online form, and guarantor form, sign the necessary copies, and submit the same at physical / credentials screening exercise at prescribed centers Nationwide.
  • Automated Physical / Credentials Screening Exercise
  • Invitation of applicants will be only for those who meet up with the online registration requirements for the automated physical screening exercise which will be conducted nationwide, on a date to be communicated later.
  • Applicants are to present the originals of all submitted documents during the Physical Screening Exercise.

Nigerian Police Force Aptitude Test 2023

  • Successful Applicants will be made to undergo an Aptitude Test (Computer Based), on a date to be communicated later.

Medical Screening

  • Applicants who scale through the Aptitude Test (Computer Based) will be invited for Automated Medical Screening at the 17 Police Zonal Medical Centers, on a date to be communicated later.

NPF Recruitment Training

  • Successful Applicants enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force must undergo a compulsory combined Academic and physical training leading to the employment of the successful ones into the Nigeria Police Force as Police Constables (PC)
