About the App Challenge

The Sixty days app challenge is aimed at engaging young Nigerians in the act of designing a mobile application to improve a range of processes and increase the level of accessibility to services available to the citizenry.

The goal of the 60 Day App challenge is to equip Nigerian youth with basic and advanced technological development skills in the digital world to be deployed across various sectors. Hence, improving youth’s innovation skills and building their capabilities in the field of designing and developing apps and games for smart devices.

Processes Participate in the 60 Day App Challenge

There are about three different phases available in the App challenge and they are as follow;

• Registration – Youths between the ages of 18-29 visits the app challenge Nigeria website to submit their email address and name to get the link to learning materials
• Submission of Proposal – applicants submit a proposal for the app they wish to design
• App submission – applicants submit the app they have designed.

The categories of apps accepted  includes;

How to Apply for App Challenge Nigeria 2020

All interested youths under the ages of 18-29 are to visit https://www.appchallengenigeria.com/ to register for the challenge. While on the portal, click on the registration tab, enter your name and a valid email address.
