Facts About the National Agricultural Land Development Authority Recruitment 2025

The program is aimed at recruiting 100 persons from each local government in Nigeria. Since Nigeria has 774 local governments in total, then the program will recruit a total of 77,400.
The recruitment is divided into two categories with one called “Buhari Young Farmers Network Initiative” while the other is called the “NALDA Volunteer Program”.

Buhari Young Farmers Network Initiative is aimed at recruiting 100 persons per local government with a total target of 2,000 young persons per local government at the end of 2021. These persons will be engaged in farming activities across different priority value chains.

NALDA Volunteer Program this program is targeted at provides opportunities for eligible Nigerians to contribute their volunteer actions, where suitable, to support the work of NALDA in the three main NALDA pilot projects.
The Programme which will last for 6 months will tactically organize broad-based volunteer services.

Aim of NALDA

The aim of this program is for Mr. President(Mohamadu Buhari) to leave a legacy and for his name to be immortalized. These young farmers will be encouraged to go into commercial farming by targeting youths especially graduates with the aim of catching them young and encouraging them to go into digital agriculture.

Requirements for National Agricultural Land Development Authority Recruitment 2025

Interested persons who wish to apply for this program are to meet the following requirements;

You must be a Nigerian by birth
You must have a Local Government Identification letter(Not to be uploaded)
You must have a recent passport photograph (Scanned and not more than 150KB)
Academic qualification(No level specified but being a graduate is an advantage)

NALDA Update Today

The Nigeria president on the 10th of November 2020 officially flagged of the NALDA program with the aim of having youths go black to farming. Although no information was given regarding what happens next based on the NALDA recruitment conducted online in 2020, the application for the program is now offline.
The president commissions NALDA Integrated Farm Estate in Katsina – The Integrated Farm Estate comprises 40 poultry pens with a capacity of over 400,000 birds; Fish ponds with a capacity of 200,000 fish; Cow and Goat pens with a capacity of 500 animals; Rabbit pens with a capacity of 3,000 rabbits; Bee apiary with a capacity of 540 liters of honey per harvest; Crop farming, packaging, and processing zones.“The Estate has a school, clinic, and a residential area, with 120 units of one-bedroom apartments so that some farmers and their families can live and work on the farm. This farm has the capacity to engage 1,500 women and youth directly.”
Imo State is set to launch its own NALDA Estate in August 2021 with Over 1000 Imo youths to be engaged by NALDA’s 400 hectares farm estate
