About Benin Electricity Distribution Company(BEDC)
BEDC Electricity Plc. (BEDC) is one of the successor distribution companies (Discos) created following the unbundling and privatization of the state-owned Power Utility, Power Holding Company of Nigeria(PHCN) BEDC is responsible for the retail distribution of electricity in Delta, Edo, Ekiti, and the Ondo States with geographical coverage of 55,770 square kilometers. The company operates from twenty-five (25) business districts with approximately 350 offices located across the four (4) states with about 13 million people and about 4 million households.

The Benin Electricity Distribution Company(BEDC) has an official website http://bedcpower.com/ through which they pass information to their customers and also process bill payments, the same website also houses her career portal through which recruitment vacancies are announced. - Graduate Trainee
- Technician Trainee
Requirements for Graduate Trainee
Interested applicants for the position of the graduate trainee are to meet these requirements;
- Applicants must hold Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE) with (Credit) passes in Mathematics and English Language.
- Minimum HND/ BSc in Engineering, in one of the following disciplines; Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Geography, Geology, Urban and Regional Planning.
- Minimum of Second Class Lower/ Lower Credit
- Applicants must not be older than 28 years old.
- Eligible Candidates must have completed his/her NYSC Program.

Requirements for Trainee Technician
Interested applicants for the position of the trainee technician are to meet these requirements;
- Applicants must hold an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Applicants must not be older than 30 years of age.
