Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS) 2022 | Fully Funded | Apply Now

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and eligible international students for the Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS). The MIS is a Malaysian Government Scholarship that offers opportunities to international students who wish to study for Masters and Ph.D. Programs in different Malaysian Public Universities.

This scholarship doesn’t require IELTS/TOEFL and it is a fully funded scholarship which means the Malaysian Government covers all expenses for all participants. The Scholarship is for full-time postgraduate studies (Masters/Ph.D.) in Malaysia in any academic field. Participant ages should not be more than 45 years.

Scholarship Details

  • Country: Malaysia

  • Age Criteria
    • For Masters: Up to 40 Years
    • For Ph.D.: Up to 45 Years
  • Financial Coverage
    • This Scholarship will cover Tuition Fees and a Monthly stipend.
    • Monthly Living Allowance; RM 1,500.00 Per Month will be given.
    • Successful Applicants are expected to independently arrange their travel to Malaysia (non-financial provisions). Travel expenses will not be provided by the Government of Malaysia
    • All applicants are highly advised to check the expected living expenses in Malaysia.

This scholarship covers almost all academic fields available in various universities across the country. The MIS Scholarship in Malaysia supported fields of study for Masters & Ph.D. include;

  5. Biotechnology
  6. Biosecurity and Food Safety
  7. Infrastructure and Utility

Eligibility Criteria for the MIS Scholarship

  1. Not more than 40 and 45 years of age for Master and Ph.D. respectively.
  2. A written proposal with a minimum of 1,000 words that is relevant to your field of study.
  3. Proof of English Language Proficiency like IELTS or TOEFL OR Applicants obtaining Degrees with English as a Medium of Instruction may also be accepted (evidence is a prerequisite).
