BESDA is the acronym for Better Education Service Delivery for All. It is a Federal Government/ World Bank-funded project aimed at mopping up Out-of-School children, as well as improve literacy and straighten the education system in Nigeria.

The Gombe State government publishes all her news and updates on recent activities in the state and its developments on her official website https://gombestate.gov.ng. However, the state unlike others has no known recruitment portal but can sure attach one to the State’s official website like we have Kano State, Ekiti State, and some other states.

When will Gombe State Better Education Service Delivery for All Recruitment Start? 

The Gombe State Governor(Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya) on the 8th of August 2019 appointed Dr. Abdullahi Bappah Ahmed as the coordinator of BESDA in the state and on the 7th of September 2019, the program was officially launched at Malam-Sidi Kwami Local Government of the State but so far, the state is yet to add more teachers to its existing list unlike its counterpart in Kano State who recently employed 600 teachers for its BESDA program which is why we strongly believe the state will call for teachers recruitment soon. It will interest you to know that Gombe State has about 453, 000 out of the total number of 13.5 million out of school children reported globally according to Global Education for All Monitoring Report which also states that Nigeria has about 45% of the total figure.
