What is S-power?
S-power is a Kastina State government teacher recruitment initiative introduced in the first quarter of 2018 by governor Aminu Bello Masari of Kastina State. The S-power concept is borrowed from the Nigerian Federal Government N-power initiative aimed at recruiting unemployed Nigerians to fill vacant positions in various fields especially the education sector. As at the time of introduction, the program was set to target the recruitment of 5,000 teachers with NCE(National Certificate of Education) to support current teachers in various government schools in Kastina State while receiving 5,000 Naira stipend monthly for the volunteer service.
The Success of the S-power Kastina Program
Since the post about S-power Kastina recruitment got so many views and interests, I decided to follow up on the recruitment process through her official page on Facebook.
Although the 2018 recruitment process was successful, the payment of stipend has been an issue as most candidates have complained about none payment of the said 5,000 stipends by the state government.

Spower Recruitment Portal
Following the announcement of the recruitment in 2018, a recruitment portal was created by the state government to carter for the S-power recruitment process including; application, requirements, uploading of documents and shortlisting of applicants for S-power. S-power Katsina State Recruitment 2022/2023
The S-power recruitment portal is currently open for interested and qualified candidates who wish to apply for the recruitment. Although there is no official announcement from the government both on her twitter handle, facebook page or website regarding the commencement of recruitment but applications are currently going through.
Requirements for SPower Recruitment 2022
Interested and qualified candidates are required to complete their application online provided they are currently holding NCE and are indigence of the state.

There is currently no deadline for application since the state government did not make any official announcement regarding the recruitment.
