What is FMYSD ESP? 

The FMYSD ESP is an acronym for the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development Economic Sustainability Plan. This plan was created as a result of the impact of Covid-19 and as a means of economic recovery. The Federal Government of Nigeria approved the COVID-19 stimulus budget and the  Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development (FMYSD) has sought to tap from this fund for the express purpose of Human Capacity Training and Development, which in return has the potential to boost future income/profit and economic activities in general through impacting youths with the required digital skills needed in the 21st-century workplace.

In line with this idea, the FMYSD created three(3) programmes to impact positively the lives of youths. Below is the list of programmes and requirements.

• Green Stimulus Framework
• Digital Youth Nigeria
• Work Experience Programme

Green Stimulus Framework

The Green Stimulus programme is designed to develop a new breed of trained technicians with basic and advanced knowledge in renewable energy and smart agriculture. Click here Apply for green stimulus. Click here to apply 

Digital Youth Nigeria

The Digital Youth Nigeria programme is designed to avail eligible Nigerian youths that will participate in standard training sessions to learn several global digital roles, including Business Process Outsourcing skills, Software, and Coding skills, Animation/Graphics skills, and Internet of Things/IT Hardware skills. Work Experience Programme

The Work Experience Program is one of the economic sustainability projects established as a result of a recent clinical study and analysis of various surveys on the Nigerian youths, with respect to employability skills. This survey was carried out alongside a series of one-to-one interactions. In reaching a conclusion, it was established that one of the challenges of unemployment is the acute absence of practical workplace skills and experience. Click here to apply.

Requirements for For FMYSD ESP Registration

Below are the general requirements; 

• You must be a Nigerian youth from the age of 18 and above. 
• You must have a government-issued ID card (NIN, PVC, Drivers license, International passport)
• You must be able to transfer the knowledge gained to others
