Current Job Vacancies at OPEC 2019
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) currently have two(2) job vacancies to fill in this month and the vacancies are;
- Head, Data Services Department
- Economic Analyst
Requirements for Head, Data Services Department at OPEC Recruitment 2019
Interested applicants for the above named position are required to meet these requirements;
- Advanced University degree in any related fields to Statistics, Computer Applications, or Informatics.
A PhD in either field is preferred. - Applicant must not be older than 58 years old
- Applicants should have at least 12 years experience
Training Specializations:
- Oil related statistical data
- Software Application Development
- Systems Analysis and Design
- Project Management
- Professional Management & Leadership

Requirements for Economic Analyst
Applicants for this position are to meet  the following requirements;
- A university Degree in Economics
- Advanced degree(Masters) is preferred
Work Experience:
- Applicants with University degree should have 8 years of experience
- Advanced degree applicants should have minimum 6 years work experience.

Training Specializations:
- Macroeconomics, international trade and/or development economics.
- Knowledge of applied econometrics and quantitative methods an asset.
- Knowledge of the oil industry an asset.
