The West African Examination Council(WAEC) has launched its fresh recruitment portal for conducting the 2025 mass recruitment in its Headquarters office in Accra, Ghana, and Nigeria. General Requirements
- Applicants must be able to use Personal Computers, and MS Office software packages and have knowledge of web-based systems;
- You should be a team player with good interpersonal skills and be open and able to lead change;
- You should possess influencing, analytical, and communication skills;
- You should be an organizer/planner with the ability to be flexible and to be able to successfully implement ideas.
- You must possess five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting or six (6) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and Mathematics.
Documents Needed to Complete Your Application
- A scanned passport photograph of size between 7kb to 30kb and dimension 275 x 314 pixels
- Educational qualifications (secondary and tertiary with uploaded scanned copies of certificates obtained). Size of upload between 50kb to 120kb, width between 400pixels to 1200pixels and height between 600pixels to 1500pixels
Requirements for Assistant Registers
All those wishing to apply for any of the assistant registrar positions must meet these requirements;
- You should Possess a Bachelor’s Degree (at least Second Class Lower Division), in any subject area
- A Master’s Degree in Educational Measurement and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years post-NYSC teaching experience.
Requirements for Accountant II
- Applicant should Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any other related course of study with at least Second Class Lower Division
- You should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK)/ Institute of Chartered Accountants, UK (ACA)
- You should have at least three (3) years of post-NYSC professional qualification experience
Note: Requirements for other positions are similar to the ones listed above, just make sure you are registered with the appropriate regulation council or professional body in your field of study with certifications where necessary.
How to Apply for WAEC Recruitment 2024
Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application form online via the WAEC recruitment portal by visiting this page on or before the application deadline.
While on the page, click on register to register on the portal then, check your email address for the activation code(you are advised to use Gmail as it appears to work better with the portal). You will need a valid email address to complete your application and make sure not to forget your password as shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
