The following vacancies are currently available for interested and eligible candidates to apply

- Budget and Expenditure Analysis of MOSA
- Consultant – to support national project on diversion in Lebanon

Requirements for Makani and school transportation service safety consultant
UNICEF is looking for an experienced consultant/institutional firm with a public finance background and with experience in budget analysis
- Diploma degree or equivalent preferably in management or any related field.
- Certified as ToT from Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
- Fire Fighting, First Aid and Road Safety certification
- 3 years of working in the safety field as a safety and security professional
- 3 years’ experience in conducting training for Road Safety
- 3 years’ experience in conducting Driver capacity assessment
- 3 years’ experience in conducting training in Fire Safety
Technical knowledge:
- Experience in Firefighting, First Aid, and Road Safety
- Experience in provide training and customize training
- Identifying risks and hazards
- Team building capacity and communication
- Reporting skills
- Aware of safety local laws
Language:
- Fluent knowledge of English and Arabic.
- Arabic is the mother language.

Requirements for Budget and Expenditure Analysis of MOSA
- The consultant should have an advanced university degree in Public Policy, Social Policy, Economics, International Development, or other relevant disciplines.
Years Of Relevant Experience And Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in analytical work on public finance issues, public finance management, and/or social budgeting; specific focus on social budgeting for children is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in conducting institutional and organizational assessments, preferably in the public sector.
- Knowledge in child protection or social protection and welfare conceptual frameworks, related theories, and practice.
- Proven track record / previous experience on preparing reports and concept notes on PFM, especially Public Finance for Children and Child & Gender Friendly Budgeting.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and writing skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic. Knowledge of French is an asset.

- Minimum 20 years of professional work experience
- Degree in law, preferably with a focus on child law, family law and/or penal law
- Experience in the establishment of systems of child justice, particularly diversion and alternatives to imprisonment
- Experience in engaging in high-level advocacy with governments and State actors, through technical support and advocacy
- In-depth knowledge of the UN system, and the international framework on diversion and alternatives to detention, as well as child justice
