Telpecon Grant Disbursement – There are so many grant opportunities available in Nigeria today from various NGO’s and Telpecon Grant is one of such grants that has made waves across various states of the Federation.

What is Telpecon Grant?

TELPECON is an acronym that means The Less Privileged Coordinators Network (TELPECON). It is a consortium of Nigerian NGOs, CBO initiatives with over a 44million members nationwide, and a registered body with Corporate Affairs Commission with registration number CAC/IT/No. 124228 under the Trustees and Allied Matters Act 1990 and EFCC SCUML Certificate which focuses on the empowerment of the less privileged and entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The current National President of Telpecon is Rev. Mamah Cyril Elochukwu(B.Art).

The sole aim and objectives of TELPECON are to fight poverty in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, through the Empowerment of women and youth in our society, and to support them through grants for entrepreneurial engagement, especially those who are considered rural dwellers.

Who Is Eligible to Apply for Telpecom Grant?

This grant is open to all Nigerians who wish to apply for the grant but is meant for less privileged people and entrepreneurs who are sourcing funds to grow their businesses. So if this fits your description, you are eligible to register for the grant.

How to Apply for Telpecom Grant 

Application for this grant is usually done offline through various coordinators assigned to cover various regions/ states. Although the organization has a website www.telpecon.org, the website is currently not accessible at the time of this post, and the application has already ended based on information gathered through various sources and initial applicants are currently waiting for disbursement of the grant.

How Much Can I Apply for in Telpecom Grant?

The grant promises over 1 million Naira to each applicant hence all applicants are to expect up to the said amount or more. If you are an intending applicant, you can have this amount in mind although it is not guaranteed that you will receive the grant or the above-mentioned amount.

Is Telpecom Grant Scam?

We can not say if this grant is a scam or not but due to the delay in disbursement and the continuous postponement of the disbursement date, many applicants have tagged the grant as a scam coupled with the fact that some of the applicants made some level of financial commitment in other to apply for this grant even though the process was meant to be free.
