The Sokoto state government has an official website https://sokotostate.gov.ng through which they announce all online activities and recent news regarding Sokoto State but the Sokoto State scholarship board has no known website rather they announce all their activities through their Facebook page for students to take note of and this includes all requirements for the state scholarship application.

About the Scholarship
The Scholarship application is open to all student indigenes of the state who are studying in and outside the state. All students from the state are eligible to apply for the scholarship provided they have been admitted into a government-approved tertiary institution.

Requirements
Interested candidates for this scholarship are to meet these requirements;
- Originals and Photocopies of all the credentials
- Two passport photograph
- Confirmation of Admission
- Local government Certificate of Indigene

Interested and eligible candidates for the scholarship can submit their application during their school verification process which usually comes every once a year with an announcement placed in the newspaper or on the state scholarship board’s official Facebook page.
