About Nigerian Army University Biu

The Nigerian Army University Biu(NAUB), Borno State is a university created by the Nigerian Army to serve as a solution center for the technological and other operational problems of the Nigerian Army, the military, and the nation. The Nigerian army university was officially opened in 2018 for both civilians and military personnel. The university is the first of its kind in Nigeria and Africa at large. The university admitted the first batch of students in 2018 and the 2020 admission will bring in the third batch of students.

NAUB Admission Requirements and Guidelines 2025

The NAUB just like all Nigerian Universities have some basic requirements for admitting students and these requirements are as follows;

• You must have completed your SSCE Examination and have five(5) O’level credit passes including English and Mathematics.
• You must have sat for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board examination(JAMB) 2022 and scored up to 180 and above(160 is also accepted depending on your course).
• You must complete the school application form.
• You must have made the school your first choice institution while applying for Jamb 2023/2024 or applied for a change of institution to make the university your first choice.

Note that: school fees or tuition fees of NAUB differ from one department to another but the minimum is #45,500 as confirmed by the first batch of students a few days ago. Note that this might change at any time but the sum is just to give you an idea of what to expect after being admitted.

When will NAUB Application Form 2025 Start?

The admission process for NAUB 2023/2024 academic section will commence from August 2022(this might delay because of the Covid-19 lockdown) just like most universities and only applicants who meet the requirements above can apply for admission into the university.

Nigeria Army University Basic Form 2025

The NABU sold the basic form last year and it is expected to do the same this year the form is expected to be on sale same time as the regular admission form which is August 2025.

Will I be given Military Uniform as a Student?

No, this is a regular university but managed by the Nigerian army so being a student doesn’t mean you are military personnel.

How to Apply for Admission into the Nigerian Army University Biu 2023/2024 Academic Section

Students who wish to apply for admission into the university are to purchase the school admission form from the school (not available yet) or make their payment online as directed by the school when the form is available. After that, all students are to return to the school portal to complete their application form via the school admission portal at https://naub.edu.ng.
