NDE Unemployed Persons Registration Portal
The National Directorate of Employment(NDE) conducts all its online activities through its official website https://nde.gov.ng. However, the NDE has a separate site for all its skill acquisition programs and the same portal is being used for this unemployed person registration. About NDE Unemployed Persons Registration Programme
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is an organization set up by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1986 to curb mass unemployment and reduce the craving for white-collar jobs that are not readily available for the teeming number of graduates churned out every year.
The unemployed person registration program is an attempt by the federal government to have accurate data on the total number of unemployed persons in the country in other to make adequate provisions for them.

Commencement Date of NDE Jobless Persons Registration
The unemployed persons or jobless persons registration program has already commenced in some states beginning with Lagos state which started the registration process on Monday, April 17, and is expected to end on April 28. Since some states are yet to commence registration, the above deadline is not applicable to all states so you can do well to confirm the deadline for your state.
Requirements for FG Unemployed Persons Registration Programme
If you wish to register for this program, you are to meet these requirements;
- You must be a Nigerian by birth
- You must be unemployed at the time of this registration
- You must have a skill or be willing to learn one
- NIN Number

- Required Skill (Vocational/Entrepreneurship)
- Employment Option (Wage/Self-Employment)

How to Register for National Directorate of Employment Unemployed Persons Registration
Interested and eligible persons who wish to register for this program can do so by visiting the National Directorate of Employment office in their state or visit the nearest local government to collect the registration form, fill and submit it as soon as possible. You can also apply online via the National Directorate of Employment unemployed persons registration portal here before the application deadline.
