What is the MTN Foundation Scholarship?
This scholarship is sponsored fully by MTN, a telecommunication giant in Nigeria for the prime purpose of helping brilliant students who cannot afford to meet up the financial needs of their higher level of study in the field of science and technology. Such students are paid NGN 200,000 annually if successful.

Who can apply?
The MTN Foundation Scholarship in Nigeria is for Nigerian citizens in the field of science and technology who are in their third year of study in a public University, polytechnic, or college of education.

Eligibility
- Interested candidates from public universities must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and above and they must maintain it throughout their duration of study in school.
- Applicants from polytechnic must have at least 3.0-grade point average from the OND program and must have secured admission into the HND program as well
Direct level entry students must also have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and must have secured admission into 300 level in a public University

Requirements For MTN Foundation Scholarship 2025
Candidates who pass the first stage will be invited for further screening tests and they will required to:
- 2 recent passport photographs
- Valid student ID
- Any other means of Identification
- Admission letter from JAMB and Institute of Study
- Admission letter from the HND program (this is for polytechnic students only)
