About the Kwara State Bursary
The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the disbursement of the 2023/2024 Bursary and 2022/2023 Scholarship Award to the state indigenes in tertiary institutions owned by state and federal governments.
This information was passed by the state commissioner of the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Arinde, in a statement posted on the state’s official X handle on Sunday.
Eligibility Criteria
The Kwara State government bursary and scholarship program is only open to those who meet these requirements;
- You must be an indigene of Kwara State
- You must be in a state or federal government-owned tertiary institution in Nigeria
- You must be a final-year student

Requirements for Application
- Passport photograph.
- Your last session results stamped and signed by the appropriate authority.
- Your Admission Letter.
- Your Institutional Valid I.D Card.
- Evidence of NAKSS due payment.
How to Apply for the Kwara Bursary and Scholarship Program
All Interested and eligible candidates who meet all the above eligibility criteria are to submit their application forms online by visiting the Kwara State scholarship application portal at https://scholarship.kw.gov.ng/
While on the portal, all candidates should follow the steps below.
Steps to Apply for Kwara State Bursary/Scholarship
- Visit the portal, click on the Apply Now button, and fill out the form correctly
- A verification link will be sent to your email, click on the verification link to activate your account
- Use the Login page to log in with your Email and Password
- Click on the Complete Bursary Form link after successful Login to complete your registration
- Click on the Upload link to upload all documents listed under the requirements above
- Use the Bursary Record link to view the Completed form and print it out

Application Closing Date
Application closes 2 weeks from the date of official announcement.
