Requirements for WASH M&E OfficerÂ
- Degree/diploma in statistics, computer science/IT/or any sector or sub-sector related field;
- Excellent computer skills are required (particularly Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word);
- At least two-year experience working in monitoring and evaluation preferred;
- Strong data collection, analysis, and report writing skills required;
- Ability to work independently, think analytically, and take initiative in solving problems;
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively;
- Familiarity with log frame analysis and M&E plan;
- Experience in conducting assessment;
- Desirable – Working with highly vulnerable and displaced people would be an added advantage;
- Good verbal communication skills in local languages and working knowledge of English;
- Most importantly, commitment to IRC values and principles;
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with groups of diverse backgrounds.
Requirements for IT Assistant
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- 1-2-years of relevant experience with NGOs, international organizations, or equivalent
Demonstrated Technical Skills:
- Experience working with the following software: Windows 10 Professional, Windows 7, MS Office 2013, Sophos Anti-Virus, Routers.
- Experience with following technologies: LAN, WAN, VSAT [c and Ku band], VSAT installer certification preferred
- Hardware Maintenance, and great documentation skills.
- Must be able to work with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment in problem-solving
- Full professional competency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Basic Networking Skills.
Requirements for Regional Grants and Business Development Coordinator
- Degree in international development/affairs, public administration, or related subject,
- At least five (5) years’ experience working with non-governmental organizations in the area of program development, grants management, and/or project management; preferably in West Africa,
- Successful experience developing projects, writing proposals, and developing budgets for USG, United Nations, and European donors, and with partner organizations
- Experience working in grant management in humanitarian/conflict or post-conflict settings,
- Fluent English and French written and verbal communication skills,
- Enhanced interpersonal skills and ability to work in a diverse team setting,
- Ability and willingness to travel across the region (up to 60% of the time),
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize high volumes of work to meet tight deadlines.
