The following 5 positions are currently available for recruitment at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture(IITA) and you can apply for it now before the deadline;
- Research Supervisor (Crop-Livestock)
- SME Technical Support Officer
- Program Manager, Commercialization of Biofortified Crops

The location for the above positions is Ibadan.
Requirements for IITA Recruitment 2020

Research Supervisor
Applicants for this role are to meet the following requirements;
- Applicant should hold BSc/HND degree in Agriculture, Animal Science or related fields
- Applicants should have a minimum of two (2)years’ working experience performing related roles.
SME Technical Support Officer
- Applicant should hold BSc/HND in civil engineering, agricultural engineering, computer science or related field with
- Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role.
- Applicants should be a member of relevant professional bodies (COREN, NSE) and possession of relevant professional certificates in information communication technology (ICT) or Structural engineering will be an added advantage
Program Manager, Commercialization of Biofortified Crops
- Applicant should hold a master’s degree in business administration, procurement and supply chain management, marketing, agriculture or related discipline
- Applicants should have a minimum of four (4) years’ work experience in activities related to agricultural commodities and rural development.
- Candidate should have excellent problem solving, analytical skills, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Candidate should have working experience with DFID, BMGF, and USAID funded programs.
- Having experience in working in Northern Nigeria and fluency in the Hausa language is added advantage

Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Action (MELA) Officer
- Applicant should hold a master’s degree in agricultural economics, economics, statistics or social sciences
- Applicants should have a minimum of eight (8) years’ working experience in monitoring and evaluation.
- Candidate should have technical expertise in managing and developing M&E systems; theoretical and practical background in M&E
- Candidate should have working experience with DFID, BMGF, and USAID funded programs
Demand Creation Officer at IITA Recruitment 2020
- Applicant should hold a master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, agricultural extension or related fields.
- Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in communications, branding media, and public relations.
- Candidates should have a deep understanding of marketing and communications principles, strategy & execution
- Candidate should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook applications, Cloud data storage tools like Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive, etc
