Oyo State Recruitment Portal

The Oyo State government conducts all her online service via her official website oyostate.gov.ng and informations regarding recent developments in the state is also announced through the same website. However, the state unlike Ogun state, Imo state, Lagos State, etc is yet to develop an official recruitment portal for her recruitments, hence, all recruitment are conducted through offline application. New Update: New Update: Oyo State government have created a new recruitment portal for the tescom recruitment as we rightly predicted. The new portal can be accessed here https://tescomrecruitment2020.com/ as at the time of this update, the portal is still under construction.

Fresh Update: Just as predicted before, the Oyo State TESCOM recruitment 2020 have been moved to online and the new portal is https://jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng/tescom/

This link is currently redirecting to https://tescom.oy.gov.ng/ hence, you can use either of them but the site is still not fully open despite the note on the portal stating that the recruitment will run from 13th July which was yesterday Monday to 18th July (Saturday). Since the portal is not open as at today being Tuesday 14th July, there may be an extension in the deadline.

Requirements for Oyo State TESCOM Recruitment Teaching Staff Application

Interested candidates for this category are to meet these  requirements;

• Candidate should hold NCE/ BA(Edu)/ BSc(Edu) B.Ed or other education related degrees.
• Candidates must have completed the mandandatory NYSC with discharge certificate or hold a certificate of exception.
• Candidate must have O’level result with minimum of five(5) credit passes which must include English Language and Mathematics
• Primary school leaving certificate or testimonia
• Local government identification letter
• Birth certificate
• Evidence of change of name(If applicable)

Requirements for Oyo State TESCOM Recruitment Non-Teaching Staff Application

Interested candidates for this category are to meet the following requirements;

Clerical Officers

• Candidates should hold an O’level result with minimum of five(5) credit passes at one(1) sitting orsix(6) credit passes in two(2) sitting from any of the recognized examination bodies in Nigeria(WAEC, NECO, NABTEB etc)

Assistant Executive Officer (General Duties)

• Candidate should hold OND in Public Administration or Secretarial studies
• Candidates should hold an O’level result with minimum of four(4) credit passes at one(1) sitting or five(5) credit passes in two(2) sitting from any of the recognized examination bodies in Nigeria(WAEC, NECO, NABTEB etc)
•  Having knowledge of computer is an added advantage.

Secretaries/ Typists

You are to meet all the requirements state under Assistant Executive above.

Assistant Executive Officers (Accounts)

• Candidate should hold OND in Financial Accounting
• Candidates should hold an O’level result with minimum of four(4) credit passes at one(1) sitting or five(5) credit passes in two(2) sitting from any of the recognized examination bodies in Nigeria(WAEC, NECO, NABTEB etc)
•  Having knowledge of computer is an added advantage.

Watchmen

• Applicants must be mentally and physically fit
• Applicant must hold Primary School leaving certificate.

Note: All candidate(both teaching and non-teaching) mutst have their birth certificate or affidevit, Local Government Identification Letter and evidence of change of name where neccessary.

How to Apply for Oyo State TESCOM Recruitment 2020/2021

All interested and qualified candidates for any of the categories(Teaching and Non-teaching) are visit;

Room AG 39, Oyo State Post Primary Schools’ Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Secretariat, Ibadan or the nearest TESCOM Zonal Offices in Saki, Oyo, Ogbomoso, Eruwa to collect application form after making payment of one Thousand Naira (N1,000) at any of the listed banks starting from Tuesday, 11th February, 2020 to Monday, 24th February, 2020 from 9:00am – 4:00pm daily.

Payment should be made in any of the following banks;

1. Union Bank
2. First City Monument Bank
3. WEMA Bank Plc and
4. Polaris Bank
   Account Name: Oyo State Government and Revenue
   Code: 4040082

All payment teller must be verified at the Office of the Accountant General, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submition of application is Monday, 24th February, 2020. You are advised to complete your application as soon as possible.

Personal view: This recruitment application might be moved to be completed online since the total expected candidates to be recruited is 7,000. This post will be updated as soon as that happens.
