Government of Sweden Scholarships 2025 Fully Funded See Application Portal, Requirements and Application Deadline
The Swedish government hereby invites interested and eligible international candidates to apply for over 300 Scholarships to study as Full-time Masters Degree students from Swedish Institutes.
Interested candidates for this fully funded Sweden government scholarship are to meet all stipulated requirements and must be available to study within the given period of the program.

About the Sweden Government Scholarship
The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals aims to develop future global leaders that will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to positive and sustainable development in their home countries and regions. In 2023 the Swedish Institute will grant about 350 scholarships for master’s degree studies in Sweden.
The programme is funded by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. It offers you a unique opportunity to develop both professionally and academically, experience Swedish society and culture, and build a long-lasting relationship with Sweden and other scholarship holders.
Study in Sweden Without IELTS
Applicants for this scholarship can apply to study in Sweden without IELTS provided they are from English speaking country. This is because most f the lectures are given in English and you must be able to understand and speak English language to participate in the lectures.

Financial Coverage of the Fully Funded Government of Sweden Scholarships
The Swedish government scholarship is a fully-funded scholarship for international students and hence it covers the following expenses;
- Full tuition fee is paid directly to universities.
- Regular payment of living expenses of SEK 10,000 to cover your stay throughout the scholarship
- Travel Grant For Airfare Tickets of SEK 15,000 to and from Sweden.
- Insurance Coverage.

List of Eligible Countries for Government of Sweden Scholarships 2025
Applicants from the following countries are eligible to apply for this Sweden government scholarship 2025;
Nigeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Moldova, Morocco, Myanmar (Burma), Nepal, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Russian Federation, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
If you have dual citizenship(s) and both are eligible for SI scholarship programme(s), you should choose only one of the citizenships when applying for SI scholarships. Applicants who apply to more than one SI scholarship using more than one citizenship will have both applications disqualified.

Eligibility Criteria for Application
- All international students from the above-listed countries are eligible.
- EEA candidates are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of demonstrated Full or Part Time employment
