Federal Teachers Scheme Recruitment: ONLINE APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT INTO THE FEDERAL TEACHERS’ SCHEME (FTS) FOR 2024 SERVICE PERIOD
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment into the Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) for the 2024 service period. The Federal Teachers’ Scheme (FTS) is a two-year intervention programme established by the Federal Government in 2006 to assist States in addressing teacher shortage at the basic education level.

Requirements for Federal Teachers Scheme (FTS) Recruitment
ELIGIBILITY: Only candidates who fulfill the following conditions need to apply:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor degree with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), of not lower than Second Class (Lower Division) and not earned earlier than 2014.
- Must has completed or been exempted from the NYSC Scheme.
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with credit passes in Teaching Practice and the Teaching Subjects, and not earned earlier than 2014, with specialization in any of the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Integrated Science
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Agricultural Science
- Home Economics
- Computer Science
- Technical/Technology Education
- Computer Science or Information Technology
- Nigerian Languages
- Physical and Health Education
- Not more than 35 years of age.
- Not currently employed or enrolled under the NYSC, N-Power, or any similar programme.

Federal Teachers Scheme Job Duration and Salary Arrangement
The service period is for two (2) years or as may be determined by the Universal Basic Education Commission.
Salary Arrangement
The Federal Government shall pay each participant an allowance of N30,000.00 per month.

Application Form shall be completed online. Interested candidates who fulfill the above-listed eligibility criteria should visit https://fts.admissions.clouds to complete and submit their application Forms online. Candidates will be required to upload their credentials.
You will need a vailid email address(We recommend gmail), phone number and also a password will be created before you can access the form on the portal.

List of Shortlisted Candidates for UBEC Recruitment CBT Test 2024
The list of shorlisted candidates will be published from the 25th – 2nd October 2024. All applicants should check online for their names from the above date.
Date of UBEC CBT Screening Test 2024
The screening test will hold nationwide on the 10th of October 2024 at designated screening centers.

Final List of Shortlisted Candidates for Federal Teachers Scheme Recruitment 2024
The final list of shortlisted candidates for this recruitment will be released on 28th October 2024 after which successful candidates would be given their provisional appointment letters and then posted to their area of assignment. All successful candidates will be registed and deployed to their place of primary asssignment on the 2nd of November 2024 while verification of credentilas hold from the 9th – 13th Novemeber 2024.
Training of Successful Candidates
All candidates who’s credentilas has been successfully verified will undergo a compulsary training from 1st – 6th December 2024 before resumption. See the time table below
