Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic ND Requirements
All candidates must meet the minimum cutoff mark as stated by JAMB(this is usually 150 and above except for candidates with a visual challenge).
All prospective candidates must have passed the 2022/2023 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams and must have also entered the school as a first or second choice institution.
Prospective students must have at least five O’ level credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or any related Examination. With not more than two (2) seating.

HND Admission Requirements for 2022/2023 Academic Section
Prospective students who have their national diploma (ND) either from the school or other institutions and wish to continue their education in Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic for Higher National Diploma are expected to;
- Candidates are required to Possess National Diploma (ND), in their chosen program with not less than below LOWER CREDIT from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic, Monotechnic or Innovation Enterprise Institutions.
- Prospects should have SSC/ GCE O’level with at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language & Mathematics obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
- You are required to have at least one-year post-National Diploma Industrial Training experience(1 year IT).
- All candidates should have at least 2.5 and above in their ND CGPA. For students who graduated with a pass (2.0 to 1.9), you must complete the compulsory 2 years industrial attachment program before purchasing the admission form.
