The Taraba State Civil Service Commission has an official website(csc.tr.gov.ng) through which all online activities are conducted and the same website houses the Taraba State CSC recruitment portal through which all recruitments into the CSC is conducted. All interested applicants for the Taraba State Civil Service Recruitment 2021 must visit the portal to complete their application form.

Facts About the Taraba State Civil Service Commission
The Taraba State Civil Service Commission came into existence with the creation of the state on the 27th of August 1991. The State was carved out of the then Gongola State. The present Civil Service Commission was established under the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Therefore the Taraba State Civil Service Commission, like any Civil Service Commission in Nigeria derives its powers from Section 2 part II, Third Schedule of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The constitution empowers the Commission to carry out specific functions which include;
- Setting general and uniform guidelines for appointments, promotion, and discipline.
- Monitoring the activities of Ministries and Extra-ministerial Departments to ensure that guidelines are strictly adhered to.
- Serving as the appellate body for all petitions received from aggrieved Civil Servants in respect to appointments, promotions, discipline, and other personnel matters.
- Approving the recommendations of the various junior/senior staff management committee for promotion, discipline, and complaints.
- Recruitment of staff on grade level 07 and above as well as monitoring of recruitment under delegated authority to the Ministries and Extra-ministerial departments.

List of Vacant Positions
The full list of all vacant positions is not given however, the recruitment covers from grade level(GL) 03 to 12 as stated in the requirement below.
Requirements to apply for CSC.TS.gov.ng Recruitment 2024
Interested candidates for this recruitment are to meet the following requirements;
- Applicants wishing to apply for the grade level 07 position must hold ND/NCE (GL.07)
- Applicants wishing to apply for the grade level 08 position must hold HND/Degree (GL.08)
- Applicants wishing to apply for the grade level 09 position must hold Masters Degree (GL.09)
- Applicants wishing to apply for the grade level 12 position must hold LLB/BL (GL.12)
- Applicants wishing to apply for the grade level 03 to 06 position must hold SSCE/Certificate and Ordinary Diploma (GL.03-06)
Note: Applicants for positions from GL.06 and below(03-06) should indicate the organization of their choice from the list of affected Ministries, boards, and Parastatals. Whereas applicants for GL.07 and above do not need to indicate any organization of their choice as this will be determined by the Commission.
