Requirements for Community Engagement Officer

If you are interested in applying for the position of a Community Engagement Officer, then you are to meet these requirements listed

  • Candidate should have a B.A. in international affairs, political science, social sciences, or related area; Masters level preferred;
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 5-7 years relevant full-time staff level work experience including work in conflict zones and experience in community engagement, training, field research, advocacy, and project management;
  • Candidate should have experience in northeastern Nigeria and the Lake Chad Region;
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic

Requirements for Training Officer

If you are interested in applying for the position of a Training Officer, then you are to meet these requirements listed below;

  • Applicants should have a B.A. in international affairs, political science, African studies, or related area; MA, MS, or JD preferred.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 5-7 years of training and facilitation experience with police, military, or other security actors (peacekeepers).
  • Applicants should have good Oral and written fluency in English, with Hausa and Kanuri languages, preferred.
  • Applicants should be versed in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps (email, calendar, etc.).
