The Bayelsa State governorship election 2023 is one of the two pending governorship elections slated to be held on the 16th of November 2023. The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has so far cleared  45 political parties to contest the election and more might be added to the list before the election month.

List of Current Vacancies in Bayelsa State

The National Electoral Commission(INEC) currently has  the following vacancies to fill ahead of the upcoming election;

• Assistant Presiding Officer I (APO I)
• Assistant Presiding Officer II (APO II)
• Assistant Presiding Officer III(APO III)

Requirements for INEC Recruitment 2023

All interested candidates are to meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for the job. To qualify, applicants must belong to the following categories;

• Ex-Corps Members (2015-date) and must attach a photocopy of NYSC
  discharge Certificate.
• Federal Civil Servants (GL.06-08) and must attach their letter of
  appointment and last promotion.
• Undergraduates of Federal Tertiary Institutions. Must attach their
  admission letter.

How to Apply for Bayelsa State INEC Recruitment 2023

Interested and qualified candidates are required to submit their applications offline.  The application should be addressed to the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) through the Electoral Officer (EO) and submitted to the INEC LGA Offices in the Stata.

Application Deadline

All interested applicants must submit their application no later than 2nd October 2023.
