Call for Health and Operational Experts in Nigeria Recruitment 2019
Health Investment in Nigeria programme(HIIN) is an integrated HSS programme, valued at £90M running for over eight years and commencing in 2019. The programme aims to;
- Encourage the Government of Nigeria to increase resources invested in health,
- improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public and private basic health services, and
- reduce the total fertility rate in Nigeria. Geographically will operate in five states (Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, Borno, Yobe) and at the Federal Level. This is a new programme but consolidates the existing DFID health portfolio in Nigeria.

Requirements for Health and Operational Experts in Nigeria Recruitment 2019
Interested applicants for Abt Associates Recruitment 2019 are to meet these requirements to be eligible for this recruitment;
Qualifications
- Have a degree in a related field, preferably Masters
- Have Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Be Fluent in written and spoken English
Experience:
- You must have experience working within the Nigerian health sector, with demonstrable impact
- Have experience liaising with and supporting the Federal Ministry of Health, state ministries of health and/or Local Government Authorities in Borno, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, and Yobe
- Have experience working with the private sector, non-governmental organizations and/or civil society organizations to strengthen health outcomes in Nigeria
- Have some experience with donor-funded programmes, specifically DFID, is preferred
- Experience across finance, administration, human resources, and operations of complex, multi-geographical locations
