Challenges in Getting Nigeria Youth Investment Fund
The greatest challenge faced by applicants of the NYIF loan after their application is the notification saying “Sorry you have not been trained” this reply is given to over 50% of the total applicants for the Nigeria Youth investment Fund and we have gotten so many complaints through our NYIF group on Facebook which is while we took some steps to find possible solutions and here is the solution as provided by a CBN official.

NYIF: How to fix Sorry you have not been trained
All applicants who are faced with the above, are required to visit any EDI training centre in their state of residence or any part of the country and request for training after which the EDI centre is required to upload your details to the nirsal microfinance portal used for NYIF application. This part of the portal is not accessible by individuals(you may be required to pay a token). Once the details showing that you have undergone a training with the EDI is uploaded, login to your NYIF dashboard and apply for your loan.

Note: the amount you get depends on if your business is registered or not.
Just in case you’re wondering why you didn’t get the online training, we asked about this and the answer was given was “the online training was only done because of the lockdown in various parts of the country then but the EDIs couldn’t conduct that for everyone hence the above option is the fastest way to get trained now” so you have the option of waiting or getting trained offline.

You can’t change it just reset the password of the current email. If you made a mistake, you can try creating the one you filled. If no one has created it already.
