This is to notify the general public and all Nigerians, especially fresh graduates that the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme(NJFP) has been launched for all post-NYSC corp members who wish to gain work experience to apply now to key into the NJFP programme.

What is Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme(NJFP)?
Launched 31st of August 2021, the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a youth empowerment partnership initiative between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme is designed to equip the next generation of young leaders who are poised to steer the course of national development by giving them the tools needed to succeed, today. Public and private sector stakeholders play a crucial role in this process as progress partners through which the long-term future of the nation is secured and immediate human capital needs are met.

Rising unemployment and the COVID-19 pandemic are all impacting the ability of young Nigerians to find work this is why the programme seeks to connect talented graduates with local job opportunities that require their expertise while equipping them with world-class practical knowledge and relevant skills. Why Should I Register for Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme?
Because other programs and initiatives tend to require some sort of advanced requirement from applicants or lower the entry bar in terms of the kind of opportunities that are available. NJFP does the opposite by inviting qualified applicants across a level playing field without compromising the pedigree of organizations that will play host to successful Fellows.
The programme will serve all of Nigeria – from North to South and East to West – ensuring that organizations and youth from all corners of the country can participate.
The programme also seeks to move beyond the skills and work experience but to help in building a new culture of mentorship and guidance that can chart a new course for skills development and work experience in our country.

Who Is Eligible for Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme
This program is purely designed for all graduates who have completed their NYSC program or those exempted from service who are looking to land that entry-level role in any institution in Nigeria either public or private sector with zero work experience.
How to Apply for NJFP 2021
Interested and eligible candidates who wish to apply for the fellows’ program are to complete their application online as soon as the registration commences. The application form will be available at https://www.njfp.ng/ from the 6th of September 2021.
Note: this program was officially launched on 31st August 2021 hence, the registration is yet to commence officially.
Final Words
The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme is not a totally new idea as this administration created the nyscjob portal which was also designed to help post-nysc corp members find job after service however, the platform did not offer any form of incentives to applicants rather they where suppose to get payment from the organization where they work. Although the portal is still open today, it seem to have died natural death but we hope this will outlive the current administration and become sustainable like the NYSC scheme itself.
