The Nigeria Enterprises Development Interactive Scheme (NEDIS) Covid-19 Special Fund Grant or Loan for SMEs, Farmers, and Traders application portal 2021 is now open for both online and offline applications for all interested and eligible individuals who wish to get funds to improve their business to apply through any of the methods they are comfortable with.

What is NEDIS COVID-19 Special Fund?

NEDIS is an acronym for Nigeria Enterprises Development Interactive Scheme. NEDIS is an NGO(non-governmental organization) which according to its Facebook page section state’s that they are determined to support and build a stable economy in Nigeria through collective efforts(I believe the collective effort here means crowdfunding) which is why the NEDIS COVID-19 special fund grant is a contributory Intervention Fund (CIF).

Who is Behind NEDIS COVID-19 Special Fund?

As of the time of writing this article, we are yet to know who the founder of the NGO is or the names of any board members but we will for sure update this section once the information is available. But the official address of the NGO as stated on her Facebook page is 35 Port Harcourt Crescent, Off Gimbiya Street, Area 11, Garki Abuja. 

Who is Eligible to Apply for NEDIS COVID-19 Grant?

Application for the special fund (which is not totally clear if it is a loan or a grant at the moment) is open to all Nigerian SMEs, Farmers, and traders who are willing to apply for the special fund and are ready to make a commitment of 2,000 or 3,000.

How to Make Payment for SMEs

NGN 3,000 Payment for data verification and minimum account opening balance for NEDIS COVID-19 SPECIAL FUND 2021 can be made through this link https://paystack.com/pay/nedissme (Note; you are to pay only after completing your online application).

How to Make Payment for Farmers and Traders 

NGN 2,000 payment for data verification and minimum account opening balance for NEDIS COVID-19 Special fund 2021 farmers and Traders applicants can be made through this link https://paystack.com/pay/nedisfarmertrader 

Note all payments are to be made only after a successful online application as clearly stated above.

Application Deadline 

The deadline to complete your application both online and offline is 15th September 2021

Data Verification and Account Opening Date

Data Verification and Account Opening starts from 20th September and ends on 15th October 2021

NEDIS COVID-19 Special Fund 2021 Disbursement Date

Disbursement of the fund is arranged in phases, phase 1 and 2 disbursements will commence by November 2021 while other phases come later. 

At the moment, the total number of phases is unknown till the application closes.

How Much Can I Get from NEDIS COVID-19 Grant?

The amount an applicant is expected to get during disbursement varies however, the maximum amount for SMEs is NGN1,000,0000(One Million Naira) while farmers and traders will get a maximum of NGN 500, 000(Five hundred thousand Naira).

Enumeration Code For Online Application

If you are completing your application online, the default enumeration code for all online applications is NEDIS/C19SF21/E1000. This code is applicable to all online applicants irrespective of your state of origin or residence.
