NEDC Scholarship 2024 Application Form Portal, Requirements and How to Apply Now for North East Development Commission Scholarship

Interested and eligible Nigerians from the north east development commission covered states are hereby invited to submit their application form for the 2024 NEDC Scholarship. Interested candidates are to meet these requirements to be eligible to submit their applications.

About North East Development Commission Scholarship

Following the high level of poverty and low human development in the region, the NEDC Governing Board approved the establishment of an Education Endowment Fund (EEF) with an initial sum of NGN6,000,000,000.00 (six billion Naira) for operationalizing the Fund on 12th December 2019.

The Fund is aimed at developing sufficient human capital in order to acquire adequate capacity for infrastructural and socio-economic development of the six states that make up the northeast region.

NEDC scholarship Portal

The North East Development Commission Scholarship application portal was recently launched online for indegines who live within and outside the six eligible states. The portal is part of the official NEDC official website https://nedceef.gov.ng/

List of States Eligible for Application

This scholarship is mainly for the indigenes of the six states in the northeast zone.

• Adamawa
• Bauchi
• Borno
• Gombe
• Taraba
• Yobe

Areas Covered by the Scholarship

This scholarship is a fully funded scholarship which means the body will provide everything required by students who qualify to obtain the scholarship according to the stipulated requirements.

Type of Scholarship

The list of scholarships available for application include;

• Undergraduate
• Masters
• PhD

Requirements to Apply

All candidates are to meet these requirements;

• Passport
• Primary School Certificate
• Admission Letter
• Jamb Result
• O’ Level certificate
• Indigene certificate(LGA identification letter)
• Guardian Details must include:
• His/her name
• His/her occupation
  His/her phone number
  His/her email
  His/her passport

Interested and eligible candidates should submit their application form online via the NEDC scholarship application portal by visiting https://apply.nedceef.gov.ng

How to Overcome OTP Problem During Scholarship Registration

Eligible candidates who are trying to submit their application but are having challenges of OTP or other related problem are advised to try using other web browsers such as Kiwi browser for mobile phone or use mozilla firfox or Microsoft edge browser on PC. While doing this, remember to use a different email and phone number.
