NDLEA Final List – If you applied for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Recruitment 2023/2024, then you will be glad to know that the list of shortlisted candidates for the NDLEA recruitment 2023 has just been released and here you will find the steps to check the list of shortlisted candidates on the NDLEA recruitment portal.

So, if you are one of those yet to know if their name is on the list, carefully read the instructions here and follow the outlined steps to check your name on the list now. You will also find all you need to know about the NDLEA interview/screening exercise.

How to Check NDLEA Final List of Shortlisted Candidates

There are two ways to check your name in the NDLEA list of shortlisted candidates and they are as follows;

  • Method 1: Check your application email and phone number for automatic notification sent by NDLEA and then proceed to a cafe to print the invitation for physical interview/screening and take it along with you on your day of verification(without the slip, you will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise). If you didn’t get an email or SMS notification and you are sure you do not have the do not disturb option, in your SMS, then do the following;

Method 1: Download the list of shortlisted candidates from here or here and scroll down till you find your state then look through the whole names paying attention to the surnames to find yours.

Method 2: Download the list of shortlisted candidates from the site above then press F3 on your keyboard(for pc users) and a search space will appear. Enter your surname or other names on that search box and click enter; this will highlight every name on the list that contains a similar name and gives you the total number thereby making it easier for you to locate your name.

Since the list is in a Google Drive, you can also use the find option (if you don’t want to download the entire list to your device) then type any of your names and allow it to auto-find your name on the list.

NDLEA Invites Candidates For Screening/Interview

Successful candidates whose names are listed on the list published on the website above should report for training in order of groups specified below:

  • Superintendent Cadre (Narcotic Officers) to Report at NDLEA Academy Kotton Rikus Jos Plateau State
    • Group 1. Serial Number 1-400 (Thursday 27th July 2023).
    • Group 2. Serial Number 401-800 (Friday 28th-July 2023).
    • Group 3. Serial Number 801-1,200 (Saturday 29th-July 2023).
    • Group 4. Serial Number 1,201-1,600 (Monday 31st-July 2023).
    • Group 5. Serial Number 1,601-2,000 (Tuesday 1st August 2023).
    • Group 6 Serial Number 2,001-2,428 (Wednesday 2nd-August 2023).
  • Narcotic Assistant (NA & NASS) Cadre are to report at NSCDC College of Peace and Disaster Management – KM 4 Babbar-Ruga Batsari Road, Katsina.
    • Group 1. Serial Number 1-400 (Saturday 12th August 2023).
    • Group 2. Serial Number 401-800 (Monday 14th August 2023).
    • Group 3. Serial Number 801-1,200 (Tuesday 15th August 2023).
    • Group 4. Serial Number 1,201-1,600 (Wednesday 16th August 2023).
    • Group 5. Serial Number 1,601-2,000 (Thursday 17th August 2023).
    • Group 6. Serial Number 2,001-2,415 (Friday 18th August 2023).

Other Instructions 

All successful candidates (narcotic officers and assistants) are to report for training with the following:

  1. Original and photocopy of credentials to include National Identification Number (NIN) and printout of NDLEA online application reference slip.
  2. Four copies of recent colour passport photograph without cap/hat.
  3. Writing materials to include biro, pencils, ruler, notebooks, and file jackets.
  4. Three pairs of white (unmarked) round-neck vests and navy-blue shorts (without stripes).
  5. Two pairs of white and black socks.
  6. Two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
  7. Two white bed sheets and pillowcases.
  8. Two black trousers and white long sleeve shirts.
  9. One blanket (grey or army green colour).
  10. Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wear with shoes.
  11. Bucket, cutlasses, and brooms are to be purchased on arrival.
  12. Some pocket money and toiletries.
  13. Mosquito net.

List of Documents Needed for NDLEA Interview/Screening

  • Original and photocopy of credentials in a file, including all relevant certificates (academic/statement of results; birth/declaration of age certificates; NYSC discharge/exemption certificates; certificate of state of origin; and professional certificates where necessary, etc). Candidates who fail to bring the necessary documents would be disqualified.
  • Two recent coloured passport photographs without a cap/hat.
  • A pair of white (unmarked) round-neck vests, navy blue shorts (without stripes), canvas, and white socks.
  • Duly completed copies of the guarantors’ forms.
  • Printed National Identification Card and Bank Verification Number (BVN)
  • Current certificate of medical fitness from a government hospital.
  • Trade Test Certificate for Narcotic Assistants (If any).
  • Writing materials.

Note: 

  • Shortlisted candidates who fail to report on the stated dates for their interview will be disqualified.
  • All shortlisted candidates will undergo a drug integrity test.
  • A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Any candidate from other batches seen loitering around the interview centers on dates they are not scheduled or candidates who violate instructions during the screening would be disqualified.
  • Female candidates who are pregnant would not be allowed to join the training.
  • Candidates are to note that Drug Integrity Test and pregnancy test (for female candidates) would be conducted at various times during the training. Consequently, candidates who test positive would be immediately withdrawn from training.
