FG NCHSP N50k Uplift Grant and How to Benefit From It

The President during the last National Economic Council(NEC) meeting held in Abuja on 27th June rolled out the National Construction and Household Support Programme(NCHSP) to cover all the six geo-political zones in the country.

NCHSP Uplift Grant

One major part of the rolled-out programs during the meeting is the N50k uplift grant for 100,000 Nigerians in each state of the federation including the FCT which is meant to last for 3 months. Although nothing much has been said about the Uplift grant program after the announcement, the portals are currently in the works, and applications are expected to commence any moment from now.

What You Should Know About NCHSP Grant

• The uplift grant is a N50k a month grant meant to last for 3 months which means each beneficiary will receive a hundred and fifty thousand Naira(N150,000) in total. It is important to note that this grant is very different from the previous N50k presidential grant so all Nigerians are advised to submit their application as soon as the portal opens.
• Each state has been given 100,000 slots in this grant which means each state may have its portal or the state government may decide when to schedule the commencement of the grant. The same portal may also be used while only 100,000 applicants will be selected from each state.

Possible Requirements for NCHSP N50k Uplift Grant

• You must be a Nigerian from one of the 36 states or the FCT
• You must have an NIN
• You must submit your application before the application deadline.
• Relevant personal and bank account information, including Bank Verification Number for verification of identity
