What is Kickstart
Kickstart Nigeria is an initiative of the International Breweries Foundation founded by AB InBev. The aim of the initiative is to enterprise growth and development for young entrepreneurs. Since its introduction, the program has continuously supported youth-owned businesses through business training, seed capital, and post-investment support – Mentoring.

How does it work?
Every year, kickstart Nigeria opens its application portal to young entrepreneurs who have innovative business ideas in the following categories; Agriculture, Circular Packaging (e.g. recycling), Climate Action, Water Stewardship, ICT, Education, Manufacturing/Production, Crafts, Healthcare and Others to submit their application. At the end of the day, best or better ideas are selected and shortlisted for startup funding of up to 3 million Naira. Existing businesses are also allowed to apply but they must not be above 3 years old.

How to check KickStart Nigeria List of Shortlisted Candidates 2019
All candidates who applied for kickstart 2019 are required to visit the application portal to check their names on the list of shortlisted candidates. While on the portal, candidates should look out for the link for shortlisted candidates which usually should be on the homepage or the news section of the website as soon as the list is released. Another way to know when the list is available is to check out their social media handles(Twitter and Instagram which is listed on the news sections of the application portal.

You can download the list of shortlisted candidates as soon as it is available on their website and check through the list to know if you have been shortlisted. You can also use the easy method if you are using a computer. Simply press the Ctrl+F key and enter your name in the space that shows up. this will search through the entire list and highlight all similar names thereby making it easy for you to find yours. Shortlisted candidates will be informed on the next step to follow afterward.
