This is to notify the general public and all indigenes of Katsina State that the 2024 Katsina State scholarship application form is now open for interested and eligible students to submit their application form via the official application portal. See the requirements and how to apply below.

About Katsina State Scholarship Trust Fund

Prior to its transformation in 2005, the scholarship Trust Fund was known as Kastina State Scholarship Board. It was established following the creation of Katsina from the former Kaduna State through the enactment of Katsina State Scholarship Board Law (amendment Edict) 1988. It was primarily charged with the responsibility of assisting eligible students of state origin to pursue post-secondary school courses in various institutions of higher learning across the country. Following the enactment of Scholarship Trust Fund Law N0. 12 of 2005, the State Scholarship Board Law was repealed.

Requirements

Students who wish to apply for the state scholarship must meet the following requirements;

  • You must be an indigene of Kastina state
  • You must currently be enrolled as a fresher in any government-recognized tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • You must have a valid student ID card
  • School fees receipt
  • Admission letter
  • A recent passport photograph

How to Apply

Interested candidates for the scholarship should submit their application form online via the Kastina state scholarship application portal here. Applications for the Katsina State Scholarship 2023 for the 2021/2022 academic section open on 16th January 2023.

While on the portal, applicants are required to make a payment of N1,000 for the purchase of a scratch card which will enable them to access the scholarship application form.
