Immigration Recruitment 2024 | NIS 2024 Recruitment Announced

The Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS) has announced the opening of its portal for the 2024 recruitment exercise. Interested and qualified Nigerian candidates are invited to submit their applications for a full-time recruitment opportunity to fill existing vacancies at the NIS.

List of Available Positions for the Nigerian Immigration Recruitment

The following vacant positions are currently available for interested candidates;

• Category A: Superintendent Cadre
  • Superintendent of Immigration (SI) conpass 11 professionals (Doctors)
  • Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 professionals (pharmacists)
  • Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI) CONPASS 08
• Category B: Inspectorate Cadre
  • Assistant Inspector Immigration (All) General Duty CONPASS 06
• Category C: Assistant Cadre
  • Immigration Assistant iii (IA I11) CONPASS 03 General Duty
  • Immigration Assistant III (IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans
    • Motor driver
    • Mechanic

Requirements for Superintendent of Immigration (SI) conpass 11 professionals (Doctors)

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements;

• Applicants must possess a first degree in MBBS from a recognized institution of higher learning
• Applicants should have NYSC discharge/exemption certificate

Requirements for Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) CONPASS 10 professionals (pharmacists)

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements;

• Applicants must possess a first degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution of higher learning
• NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.

Requirements for Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI) CONPASS 08

Interested candidates should meet the following requirements;

• Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• NYSC discharge/exemption certificate where applicable

Requirements for Assistant Inspector Immigration (All) General Duty CONPASS 06

• Interest applicants must to be holders of a National Diploma (ND), NCE or Advance NABTEB obtained from recognized institutions.

Requirements for Immigration Assistant iii (IA I11) CONPASS 03 General Duty

• Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary Level, SSCE/NECO, GCE or its equivalent with a minimum of 4 credit in not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English and Mathematics.

Requirements for Immigration Assistant III (IA III CONPASS 03 Artisans(Drivers and Mechanics)

• Applicants must be holders of ordinary-level SSCE or its equivalents and appropriate trade test certificates.

General Requirements for NIS Recruitment 2024

• Applicants must be Nigerians by birth
• Have a National Identity card
• Applicants must be holders of requisite qualifications and certificates
• Must be fit and present certificates of medical fitness from government-recognized hospitals
• Must be of good character and must not be convicted of any criminal offence
• Be required to pass drug tests
• Applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years with exception to doctors and pharmacists who must not be more than 35 years
