Requirements for IITA Recruitment 2022
Interested candidates who wish to apply for any of these positions, are to meet the following requirements;
Postdoctoral Fellow – Cowpea Physiologist
Applicants for this role are to meet the following requirements;
- The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in Crop Physiology or other relevant fields from a
highly recognized university with two to three years of work experience in a similar role,
preferably in an international non-profit & non-governmental setting.
Core Competencies
- Experience in legume research.
- Ability to investigate processes responsible for the primary productivity of crop
communities. - Knowledge of advanced statistical tools and database management.
- Demonstrated field research experience in international agricultural research for
development-focused projects or programs. - Ability to work as a multi-disciplinary team member in a cross-cultural environment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required, and a good working knowledge of the
The French language is an advantage. - Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment, and a high
level of respect for confidentiality.
Equipment Operator I
Interested in this role? Then meet these requirements;
- National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with a minimum of
three (3) years of experience performing similar or related roles in a well-structured
organization.
Competencies
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to read circuit diagrams.
- Ability to work outside normal working hours when needs arise.
Equipment Operator II
- National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with a minimum of
three (3) years experience performing similar or related role in a well-structured
organization.
Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Child Education or related field with a minimum of five (5) years
experience in an international school approved by an international schools association or
body (e.g IBO, CIE, AISEN, COBIS, COIS, AISA). - Possession of teaching qualification
recognized by TRCN or additional qualifications from International organizations (e.g. CIE,
IBO) is an added advantage.
Electrical Supervisor
Meet these requirements if you wish to apply for this position
- BSc/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field with a minimum of three (3)
years’ experience performing a similar roles in a well-structured environment.
Fabrication Supervisor
Meet these requirements if you are interested in this position
- BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’
experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
Plant Operator
Meet these requirements if you are interested in this position
- OND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent in a related field with a
minimum of two (2) years of experience performing a similar role in a well-structured
environment.
Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
- BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of three (3) years
experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Communication Technician
- OND in Mass Communication or related field with a minimum of three (3) years
experiences performing similar or related roles in a well-structured organization.
Research Technician
- OND in Agriculture or related field with a minimum of four (4) years of experience
performing similar or related roles in a well-structured organization.
