About Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in September 1960 as a private limited liability company and commenced operations in 1962 with an installed capacity of 600 metric tons per day. The Company was converted to a public limited liability company in 1978, and its shares were subsequently listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange. In its 54 year history, Flour Mills have remained at the forefront of wheat milling in Nigeria. The Company’s flagship brand, Golden Penny, remains one of the best known and the preferred brands amongst bakers, confectioneries, and consumers in Nigeria. Flour Mills has invested over N25 billion in milling infrastructure over the last seven years, to maintain its competitive advantage. Today, Flour Mills has a rated milling capacity of over 8,000 metric tons per day, making it one of the largest single site mills in the world.

• Heavy Equipment Manager
• Tax Manager – Finance (Apapa)
• Assistant Manager- Power & Utilities (Apapa)

Requirements for Heavy Equipment Manager

• Be adept in troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling of equipment.
• Have excellent project management skills.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to work with people and make informed decisions.
• Be able to pay attention to details.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (minimum of Second Class Lower Division).
• 7-10 years experience in a Heavy Equipment Workshop.

Requirements for Tax Manager – Finance 

• Be proactive and have excellent organizational skills.
• Have problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Be comfortable with at least 50% travel on the job

QUALIFICATION

• Applicant should hold a first degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional Certification is required e.g, ICAN, ACCA
• Minimum of seven (7) years cognate experience in a similar role.
• Consulting or FMCG background from a multinational is an added advantage

Requirements for Assistant Manager- Power & Utilities 

• Have good communication skills.
• Possess excellent leadership skills.
• Have good planning and organizational capabilities.
• Have solid problem-solving skills and be action driven.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

QUALIFICATION 

• Applicant should hold a B.Eng/HND in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or a related engineering course.
• Applicant should have a Certificate of membership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) will be a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably similar responsibility of managing Outsourced Employees.
• At least 5 years of cognitive experience.
• Oversee and supervise plant operations.
